This September I am co-presenting a seminar at the New York County Lawyers Association and through Lawline at New York Law School with Janet Falk of Falk Communications and Research on the topic “Ethically Strengthen Your Networking Skills.”
During the presentation, key discussions will include:
- What you can and cannot do from a legal perspective
- Pros and cons of your marketing message
- Developing relationships and follow-up after the initial meeting
We will examine and discuss various networking opportunities, the ethics surrounding said meetings, and how to effectively utilize networking to grow your business and build business relationships.
Lastly, we will provide examples on how to create and maintain lasting connections with potential business referrals. Attendees will learn and walk away with tools on how to effectively and ethically deepen relationships with referral sources, so that connections are more likely to remember you, understand what you do, and be able to recommend your services to a potential client with confidence.
